Need Help in a couple different areas

I just brought my mpc about a week ago a 2000xl I have been using my motif for the longest. I'm waiting for my card reader to come in the mail so while I'm waiting I have my motif and mpc hooked up through midi so I can play with the mpc's pads but when I press the pads occasionally it'll do a double kick or a double snare even though I only pressed it once any idea? also can anyone tell me what I am gonna need other than the turntable itself to hook up to the record in on the mpc so I can sample?

with the pads going off twice, thats your fault, cant help u. maby more experience, or maby your mpc is on something that isnt sturdy.

as far as the turntable question, U MUST SEARCH MY FRIEND, U MUST SEARCH

yeh most peeps go thru the double touch thing, just gotta get used tapping them quicker
