MPC 2000 Buttons

does anyone know how much vst sells the 2k or xl buttons for and who should i contact?

i know some of you have special people that you deal with over there..

i want to switch all the 2k buttons with 2kxl SE (black) buttons, if its possible.

Yes its possible. Just call Nick and tell him which buttons u need and tell him u want them in black.

It ain't cheap, homie.... once I called in for just one numerical button for my XL, and it was like $4 bucks.... 4 BUCKS PER BUTTON. They rapin' these kids.

yup. that's what i said. at first i was like "4 bucks for the whole numeric set?"...... "no, sorry. 4 bucks per button."

I think model/craft paint should do the trick. Isn't that what they use to paint model cars? I don't know how long that stuff lasts though. But at least you'll know that it's intended for plastic, as model cars usually are.

i painted mines with car model paint and its looks ok , i'll put a picture of it up here soon

i used car model paint(green) and used white paint for the lettering and put wood grain design in the front!(and the cadillac logo font... HAND DRAWN) ill put a picture up here soon to show you , but i gotta do it over again cause i messed it up trying to fill in the nicks that i missed or put too much paint on , but it still looks ok., next time its gonna be either a carolina tarheels design or a deck of cards design like the king of spades or something! and im gonna try something with my printer if it works so i won't have to hand draw the lettering
