Ok, I have been working with the MPC for years, but I have not used it in some time now. So I understand how to get around on it, but some how I am finding that I can not format a Jaz Drive on the MPC.
I plan to upgrade the MPC 2000 XL soon to a MCR but right now I am working with what I have. Has anyone seen this issue before.
The MPC can see the drive, but when I go to format it, I get an error "Medium Error". I remember something about this years ago but I can not think of the work around.
I have a Jaz 2GB drive, but I am using a 1GB Disk, and a MPC 2000 XL. And has anyone seen any issues with the ID Number you should use. I have found that when I used 1, I had some issues. I changed it to 4 and it seems to be ok. But again, I need to give it some time before I say it is ok.
Sad thing is how Iomaga gave up on the Drive (and others that would have been cool for music).
