Sound CD's...Wavs.... MPC2000XL

Someone please help me.... A few days ago, one of my boys dropped me a CD with over 10,000 DRUM SAMPLES!!!! I was trippin out... they were all SINGLE shot instead of loops and in WAV format and would do great on my MPC... So I thought.... When I copied them from the CD to a floppy disk, and loaded them up on the MPC, If I would hold down PLAY, or push the pad that the sound was assigned to... it would keep repeating itself.... is there any way to stop this?

You need to turn off the loop function on each sample:

Press SHIFT + 5, then press LOOP

Move cursor to the right and highlight "Loop:ON"

Turn the data wheel until it says "Loop:OFF"
