Each time you start to make a new beat, do this as soon as you make your first midi track: cursor down and over to the midi channel number on your mpc screen and hit Open Window. Set the 'Soft Thru' to 'Off'. This stops the message from doubling back into the Triton, and this method is used when your synth is also the keyboard controller. You only need to do this once on any midi track per beat, meaning, it's a global setting. You can make a template like that and save it, or else, just do it every time. If you don't want to do that, the alternate method is to turn the Local Control of your keyboard to "OFF" in your Triton. This should stay like that even when you power down/up again, so you don't have to do it every time.
Just remember though, with method number two, you won't be able to trigger the triton from it's own keys unless the MPC is powered on and there is an active track with midi channel on the screen. This may not solve your problem you mentioned, but it's a good start. And also, it will always keep midi info from clogging up the sequencies. When the keyboard is re-triggering itself through the MPC, there are all sorts of glitches that can happen, so it's a good practice all around.
