No system file !!

This error message occurs when I insert a hip hop set disk into my mpc2000.
Turn it on with the disk in and it instantly brings up this message. Boot it without and it'll ask for the disk first.

Bought it used and have a feeling it may be broken or Im just dumb. Read up on how to use a mpc but never heard of anything like this.

You need to make a system disk first. The 2k classic loads its os from a disk.

just format a disk and load it, huh?

No luck, getting the same message.

Format disk put mpc 2000 os on it and put that one in your mpc.

unzip it and put the contents on a floppy this will give you an mpc 2000 os disk.
