about sequences and patterns?

Yo I sampled something and put it on it's own program and I sampled something else on trak 2 and made it it's own program and had them both on the same sequence... is there anyway to load all the shit at once? without having to load each program and then the sequence?

If you mean can you play both programs at the same time you can on an 2000XL but not on a 2000 classic.

But...If you're on a classic and it's only two samples your assigning you can put them both on the same program on different pads.

If you've chopped the sample so it takes up the four banks of pads then you can go no further on a classic I'm afraid.

On an XL you can use the DRUM 1, 2, 3 or 4 for up to 4 seperate progams on 4 seperate tracks.

Basically the XL is four part multi-timbral whereas the classic is mono-timbral.

well what i am asking is if you save 2 different programs and 1 sequence for both is there anyway to load it all at once without loading 3 seperate things when you come back to work on it?

No but you can save all your programs in one APS file and all your sequences in one ALL file. You will still need to load at least 2 files. 1 with the sounds and one with the sequences. Your manual explains all these different files types in detail.

yo I got maddd drums on my computer in .wav format how can i take all my kicks snares highhats all that and keep them organized on my compact flash so when i'm making a beat i can just go through the drums and load em up on pads without going through hell...... actually how do you load individual sounds and assign them to pads... also is there anyway to sample it before you choose if you wanna use it or not?.......... Sorry guys i'm just so used to the motif the mpc is awesome just like taking baby steps again though appreciate the help frm all though
