can someone tell me please, how i can turn my song (which i have created on the mpc2000xl) into a wave or mp3 file? in the newer models like mpc2500 or 1000, you have the option to record the entire song again which creates a wave file in the mpc. but good damn, how does it work on the mpc 2000xl. i can't find anything about that problem in my operating instructions.

there's no such option on the 2000.....
you'll have to record your song through the outputs with a computer, multitrack, cd recorder ......

yeai i know that the 2000 has not this feature. anyway, when i want to record the song on my computer how does it work? (du sprichst doch deutsch oder?nur so nebenbei) do i need a soundcard which i connect to the mpc?

du must ein digital in soundkarte kaufen mit digital in, oder 1/4 Stereo links und recht ins.

Emu has some wunderbar ones but there are ones that are better I am sure.

grundsätzlich funktionierts mit jeder soundkarte die einen audio eingang hat;
allerdings würde ich dir raten eine mit chinch oder klinken eingängen zu kaufen..... kann die m-audio delta audiophile 24/96 empfehlen (emu 1212 ist schon ein bisschen besser/teurer)!
dann brauchst du noch software mit der du aufnehmen kannst.....da gibts unzählige......ich verwende steinberg wavelab;
mpc ausgänge -> soundkarte eingänge

hey cool, dankeschön für deine rasche und informative antwort. warum ratest du mir eine karte mit chinch oder klinken eingängen? gibts bei anderen eingängen wieder probleme mit kabeln und zeugs.

in dem fall muss noch eine soundkarte gekauft werden und käbelchen:?

das puzzle wird von tag zu tag kompletter aber eben nur in kleinen schritten

verwendest du noch einen mischpult oder machst du das abischen mit dem pc?
