Midi sync out of timing.

wat up. well i got the firewire410 and cubase. when i midisync it to cubase and try to play it lags a bit and plays out of timing. i get it 2 bar space before start to let it catch up but it still lags. not sure where to go from here.

any help will be appreciated.

yeh pc's midi sync retardedly, try slaving the mpc to cubase..

im not new but not a expert on the mpc. only had it a few months.

when you track using midi always start with a blank bar which will give the machines time to sync to eachother.....use a blank "two" or "four" bar set at the same tempo as the rest of the sequences and insert that blank bar into the beginning of the sequences (I usually do this in song mode) When you trigger the mpc it will play the mpc's blank bar and by the time the bar with music kicks in everything should be synced...
