aksys/MESA with MPC 2000/2000xl

hello,

i use my mpc4000 with aksys and find it works well.

can anyone tell me of any software like aksys or MESA that can be used with an mpc2000 or 2000xl

is there a better way of transfering data from computer to mpc2000xl than saving to external drive from the computer and then loading off the drive into the mpc2000xl?
