last note gets cut off

when i use a vst & hold the note past the end of the last bar why does that note get cut off abruptly when the sequence starts at 1 again?

it happens when i use my mpc-tutor multisamples & if i remember correctly it happened when a friend brought over his korg trinity rack. am i doin something wrong or what?

go to the step edit and make the note as long as you need
