Note Variation Slider

Just bought the tutorial: in the start / end field while holding down shift and moving the slider to trim a snaredrum, my lengths do not move. Am I doing something wrong?

Someone here posted up exactly how to do it, you'll have to search fowait for someone to come with the details, I can't remember exactly.

Use the wheel for now.

You habe to move the cursor to the START field, or the END field in the edit screen. Then hold shift and move slider.

Yeah, that's what the tutorial said aswell but it don't seem to work. Is there anyway to set / initiate the slider or some sort of option that enables or diables certain functions?

I have the same issue as you djinnn. I resorted to using the data wheel and/or the numeric pad.

I know mine works when I use the "after/assign" button, but never for trimming samples

I might be wrong but I wuz thinking that the XL does this and classic does not? Maybe you got a regular 2000? i dunno, just a 'shot in the dark'...

Go through the options it gives,I mean find in the manual what it does (like in the TRIM field with shift button for example) or Tuning , Filter...Just check these functions.If they work ok,then you can assume your n/v slider is ok.
