I have my mpc hooked up to the midi in and out of my QY70. I have them both hooked up to my mixer and the mixer outs hooked up to my PC, everything works fine except when I try playing something on the mini keyboard on my qy70 it triggers some drums I have programed on the mpc. Is there anyway to set it up so that the mpc only records the midi data and doesnt play the programs stored? Thanks

Heres what you need to do. On your main screen remember that DRUM means MPC or INTERNAL SAMPLES. MIDI 1A-16A and 1B-16B represent your MIDI MODULES or KEYBOARDS. To hear only the MPC on a specific make sure that at the bottom of the main screen it reads DRUM 1,2,3,or 4. To hear a MIDI instrument make sure that the word Drum 1,2,3, or 4 is replaced with the word MIDI. This turns off the MPC's internal sounds for that specific track and turns on the midi instrument assigned to the midi channel you have selected. Thus erradicating that double instrument playback problem.
