Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000
By Edutainer Tue Oct 24, 2006 6:10 pm
I have looked over the manual but I cannot figure out what the best (or only) way to record out from the MPC is. I dont know if I should be using the digital out or one of the assignable 1/4 ich outs. Also, where is the record out screen in the MPC. How do I tell it to record out r pick what is is playing, or does it allways send info and I just turn on the recording device whenever?? I will be recording into my computer, and I think I know how to set that end up, but the manual aint helpin me on the mpc side...

Thanks for any help.

You need to read up on what exactly your 8outs, digital output and main output is for.

Then you'll have your answer, stop thinking deep and use common sense, it's not a difficult issue, really it's not.

Okay, Lampdog is right(like always)

Bro, what type of interface connection do you have?
Can you go digital to digital or 1/4in to 1/4in/RCA, what?

Audio out to Audio in, Stereo, mono, whatever.

Nah, not always right, not at all. I just try to use common sense and I'm a VERY self sufficient person. I research and solve my own problems, I pay attention to connectors, gear specs, manuals and upgrade notices and addendums. That's all peeps really need to do, but like another person said recently, it's ALOT to remember/do to get stuff going.

I'll be the first to admit I'm wrong if I actually find out later on that I'm wrong.
