questions about recording to mpc

Well,I mean,if you record from a turntable it is obvious (for me) that you will use the analog input,if you have something with digital out then why not using this one? The quality will be the best I suppose
Might be wrong about this turntable thing though...I wonder if you can pass the signal from the deck through digital in...hmm?

i don't want to be an a$$hole but you really need to go to the www.tweakheadz.com and read up on the midi explanation.

i will offer you some help though. you can connect your computer's MIDI IN to the MPC's MIDI OUT A or B then hit shift+9 to go to the MIDI Sync screen and select the MIDI OUT that you have connected. but with what you have available you will only be able to use the MPC as the MASTER...meaning that your MPC wil command the software on your computer.

you really need to read up on midi before you do anything....better yet, just open the manual to page 2 and start from there...you won't have much use for the MPC if you don't know the basics.
