Audio CD or wav download?

I bought a sample cd and they gave me my choice of audio cd or wav download...which one do i use to load the sounds directly into the mpc2000xl, i dont want to have to samlpe the sounds..do i download the wav and transfer to the mpc and if i buy the audio cd is that different from a cd rom that loads directly into the mp? i have a scsi cd rom, scsi zip

You need the WAV version, otherwise you'll have to load the CD into a standard CD player and sample it.

Or you'll have to use a program like wave editor, soundforge, or awave to name a few to convert the samples from audio to wav format.
