there is a recent thread about cf readers on the 2k classic right on this page.

Its always best to get confirmation a certain model actually works with the MPC too. I believe I bought this same 7-4-1 model (bec it was cheap) and its still sitting in my computer parts box since I only wanted it for the MPC and it wasn't compatible.

if i get the $17 version, can i just plug it into my xl without problems?
