Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

How do u make it so that samples won't overlap each other. I know that on programs and params u set it to mono and if u press the same sample over and over again it doesnt over lap but how do u make it so when u click on sample and another that it doesnt over lap. Thanks.

Set the others to mono as well!!!!

i set it to mono and all of them anyways and it still does it.

Close but no cigar. In order to make one pad mute another pad you need to look into your manual on pg. 126 (2kxl) or pg 105 in the mpc2k manual.

Wow, that went right over my head....read the original question wrong!!!! 8)
