So I use my MPC as my drummer. I play noise/grind solo and have been doing this for three years. Now I am running into a problem that has never happened.
When I compile all the sequences in song mode and convert it into a midi file, normally the song I programmed plays from start to finish. And from there I'll just put all the midi songs into song mode, play one after another as my set, it's really versatile that way and I can change/add songs on the fly.
I've got a new song, with 27 different sequences in it, (in less than 40 seconds) and when I convert it to a midi file and play it, halfway through the song the drum programming stops, however the song is still playing...
Has anyone ever had this happen? Is it a glitch, and I just need to reprogram the song? I don't know, I need to service it, I haven't done so since I bought it and I've taken it on two US tours. My MPC is a road dog, tougher than any drummer I've toured with in a band...
