Saving stuff so I can edit them later?

Hey guys. This might be a dumb question, so just tell me, but I tried reading the manual for this and I could not find it. I don't have an MPC yet, by the way. I'm trying to learn all about it before I buy it. Anyways, if I wanted to stop working on a beat and come back to edit it and work on it later, am I able to do that? I'm asking because I hear you can't really edit stuff after you do them, like, the tracks and stuff have to be laid out right the first time. Also, is there a way I can save everything to a CF card or something so that I don't use the MPC's 32MB real quick? So that the CF card would essentially have many beats stored in it?

You need to read up and learn some stuff. The MPC's RAM is used while you work on beats, it holds your sounds. If you want to turn the machine off and come back to it another day you need to save your work somewhere other than the RAM because it is cleared when the machine is turned off.
