Exploring Folders Problem :(

I've a problem with exploring into the folders of my CF card in the MPC. When I'm in a subfolder, like:
Samples->Hihat->ohh. I'm using the explorer (open window) when I want bacht to the root with the left arrow, it won't. The only way to get back to the root is to reject the CF card and load the card again so I'm starting in the root. One time I was busy with a beat...and I tried to go back to the root, my MPC hung with a very strange error, something like write protect.

Same problem here with going backwards after entering a sub-folder.

I'm on a 2000xl with 1GB CF card formatted on the MPC and OS 1.20. This was the only post I've found so far about this problem. Any ideas?

Okay, all fixed.

Mac OSX and CF cards for the 2000xl aren't friends. I reformatted the card and transferred files over with WinXP and everything worked fine.

Just a side note:
MPC2500 CF flash cards work fine with Mac OSX as well as WinXP.

can anyone else confirm this issue of transfering the file from OSX to the CF card and the mpc not letting you move out of the subfolder please??

if so im going to have to buy some crappy little windows box to do it, im on OSX.

Yeah I can remember having a similar problem I think
