after 9 years of mpc (2000 and xl) use, i finally started messing around with Live, yeah im a sellout, but 32 meg ram vs 2 gigs, come on...
but anyway, i have a usb zip drive i use with my mac and pc and i wanted to get some older mpc (wav) sounds into live. seemed to work ok, then i put the zip back into the mpc and some junk file showed up, so i deleted it, and i guess it deleted some wav files along with the junk file. is there any safe way to use a zip disk to share midi and wav files on all 3 platforms? will these junk files cause problems with mpc operation if i just ignore them?
thanks
