IIght i know this has been posted numerous times, as i searched this site and googled a lot of keywords, but i am trying to hook up my Mpc 2KXL and my Fantom X6 through midi. I have the Midi running out and in from mpc and fantom, so i can control both. However, everytime i record a sequence with a certain instrument on my Fantom it changes after i change tracks. I know i said that kinda **** up. what i mean is...if i record a synth on track 1 midi 1a on the mpc, then go to track 2 midi 2a on the mpc and record a trumpet line, the sound will change for track 1a for synth to trumpet also. i have had my fantom for about 4-5 months, i dont have the manual luckily i bought it from a friend for 1000$. I would appreciate all the help i could get.
