hey for some reason, my MPC 2000 XL isn't reading my San Disk 2gb SD card. its brand new so i shouldn't see any problem there, anybody know?

never got a SD card to work. i understand why people buy them though (dollar per gig)

CF cards are more stable to use.
I'm not shore if the mpc2kxl can read and write to 2 gigabyte cards...
try to make the card into 2 partitions (partition A =1gb) and (partition B =1 gb)
otherwise just try to take the card back to the store and change it into an Compact Flash Card.
