Hey yo

i am buying a 2000xl next week and I need to know a few things..

1. Does the machine come with any internal sound pgms, or do they come on a disk?

2. Does the machine come with any storage devices (such as a CF card like the 1000)?

2. I am not going to bother with any SCSI devices so, can I save songs made on the mpc to a CF card and from there import the files onto my computer?

I have a CF Card Reader to USB hookup for my laptop already so that should work as a storage medium, correct?

thanks.

1- No internal sounds on 2000XL --- I had a zip disk that came with mine (soundswere included)
2- Yes. It will have 1 of 3 storage options - Floppy drive, Zip drive or MCD

No your USB card reader will not be compatible with your MPC as a storage device.

You would need an internal(Atapi) CF drive in order to save from the MPC

I got a CD of samples with mine
just some acoustic drum kits - I think I also found this on the net somewhere
