finally got a 2000xl after waiting and wanting for a while, i still have my 1000, but it seems as if im not going to be touching the 1000 for a while 
i paid 750, it came with an external HD and also a internal 100mb zip, its a bit scuffed and scratched but still in pretty good condition, i was told that all the pads were working, and all that, but when i got home, my pad 3 was dead!! can someone help me out, i kinda need to know if i just replace the pads everything should be cool? i know its dead cause i put it on full levels, and checked the programs button and it was unresponsive...

its officially dead, i took everything apart, and manually pressed the carbon sensor pad, and no luck, its dead dead dead............. can i replace the sensors manually, if ordered from vst or do i have to send it in to get replace?
