Drums on 2000xl doubled???

I've loaded some .wav drum sounds to my 2kxl and when I continuosly play for example the hi hat it sometimes sounds like it was doubled (or like if an another hi hat would be added) and I do not play it from the sequence so it is not recorded in an another track.The same happens with the snare but it is much quiter for that. Nothing happens with the kick. I tried to change the pads for the sounds, but this did not help. What's wrong? Thanks for help

Could it be that your MPC has an fx card and your sounds go through a delay or something ?
Have you checked in step edit to make sure there are no ghost notes?

are your pads broken?

There were no ghost notes and the pads are working fine, the problem was I have had it connected to my soundcard into mono channels and I had to turn them completely right and left. As soon as I've made them stereo, the problem disappeared. Anyway, I still do not understand why it did that.
