i recorded a seq at 104bmp, tryin to slow it down to a more hip hop feel. i've looked in the step screen and messed with the tuning but to no avail. perhaps it's somethin i'm doing wrong.

also, i was wondering if there is a way to resample on the xl. i don't think it's capable of that from what little i know. shed some light on that if you can

Sequence tempo is right at the top-left of the screen in the main mode. Should be one of the first things you set when you start a track.

If you are talking about slowing down a sound or sampled loop, you can either tune it down or timestretch. Tuning can be done in sample mode or in program settings, but will make the pitch go down. Timestretch can be done in through sample editing and will sound more natural so long as you dont stretch it too much. Can take a few tries to get right (and is kind of slow, so be patient).

There is no way to resample on the XL. You would have to play samples to another sampler to pull that off.
