Movie edit

Can some help me, its a silly question. I am first a beatsmith like most of you, but i have also picked up a new craft making movie, I wanted to make a sondtrak, with scene fromt he movie.. do anyone kow what program i can use to edit a part in a moie. I just want one part of the movie
i heard cool edit... any suggestions

windows movie maker should work fine for that
