fixing cursor keys

anybody had messed up cursor keys and had to fix it? like i got to press down real hard on the left and down keys or at an angle.... nick from vst told me it was just a resolder thing but is it that simple?...i tried the search but for some reason it gives me a whole bunch of different topics...

I have had the same problem, but strangely the buttons have starting working again after not long, so I have not been forced to fix them. I'm surprised to hear that it is a problem with soldering, I would have thought it had something to do with the contact in the buttons.... but I know nothing.
