Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

hi im new to beat making got an mpc2000xl and im lovin it there so much shit u can do but ive started being able to use it pretty good now ive made a couple of beats but on one beat im makin i just want to clean up the drum sounds and the bass etc.. how do u lot go about cleaning up your sounds?

What do you mean? Cleaning up the sounds? Are you sampling with the mp? If you sample a drum hit with noise on it it gonna come out noisy.
Please be more specific with your question.

i mean i got the samples loaded and ive put the to the drum pattern frpm these samples to it tuned them etc. but when i record it to my pc and play it bak on my hi fi they seem like they need to be cleaned up made sharper i can upload the beat im working on if u want to hear what it sounds like its only a short rough version but i want the drum pattern to sound alot more cleaner sharper sounding.

i was speaking to someone and he told me that its all in the mastering process of a beat can someone point me out to someplaces where i can learn mastering beats and vocals as this would help me alot.

Sounds like you have a crappy soundcard.
Is this tha case ? What kind of soundcard do you have ?

so do i have to get an scsi card and transfer my beats to the computer that way im using a recording soundcard what i use to record my mic? what do u recommend?

Off topic, I never EVER clean up my drums, I actually invest time in DIRTYING THEM UP... just my preference.
