Does anyone know what jumper setting I would use for installing an internal card reader?
I'm swapping out my floppy drive to the cf card reader and before I actually start I wanted to figure this out.
I got the drive from synchrotech, like many of you, and the directions give 3 different settings
Master, Slave, or master & slave.
I think it would be either slave or master and slave but anyone who knows could you PLEASE help me out.

There is only 1 drive on that data ribbon, so it isn't a slave to any other drive on the same ribbon.

It's not a secondary drive on the ribbon either, it's only 1 drive present correct?

It only takes a few seconds to figure out the rest, by connecting the jumper and turning on the power, trying a different jumper and turning on the power again.

I found the answere on midicase.com
it needs to be the master jumper setting.
Thanks Lampdog

The guys at the computer store could only find a dual drive data cable and told me it would work for a straight connection from the card reader to the motherboard of the mpc.
Is it gonna work?

You can cut what you don't need off with scissors if you want it to be neat.
