im going to buy a card reader. do i install the new operating system for the mcd before i install the card reader or after

120 os i think is for card size, not mcd drives specifically. I have an mcd, 2kxl, 2 x 512mb lexar cf and os 114. Not 1 problem since installation more than a year ago.
Stop getting automatically offended when you see gold letters!

I have a similar question, I am about to install the card reader...
and I downloaded system 1.20. Akai webpage says it's only for MCD.
Does it mean I am not going to be able to use my external zip drive to copy the old beats??!! Please help, is it goingto work?

You guys are worrying too much.
Install the 120 as see what it does. Make sure you 114 on floppy first.
If 120 doesn't act right you can always go back to 114 and start over.
ie, put your floppy drive back in and install 114 from floppy.
I've done it, with floppy and 120 and it wasn't acting right.
I went back to 114 and installed my mcd.
Maybe yall are thinking you can't go back, yes u can.
