mpc2000xl format zip disk

I thoght you were not able to dumping it on the computer and then coping it on a empty zip disk

Download of OS from internet and transfer via zip/floppy/cdrom to MPC....
Transfer of samples via zip/floppy from/to PC/MPC....
Can all be done with the XL.

Don't forget if he get's the MPC with the internal zip and lacks one for his computer that he's SOL for a minute.
