Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Maybe it is just me...but I like the old ReCucle better. It was able to just dump the suff down over midi. Yep it was slow...but it was always right.

Here is the issue. If you know how Recycle works you understand that it simply chops Samples for you. But it also has a way of making a MIDI File for you so that it can play the samples back (as if it was a Rex. File). This works find when I use my Akai S1000. But it never works with the MPC 2000. Some how the notes are always off.

I have tried setting the pads to Auto Chromatic Assignement...but that is not working because I dont really need to make one sound go over all the pads.

Has anyone every done this?

The MPCEDITOR in conjunction with RECYCLE 2.X for PC can deal with this.

Works fine for me on my MPC3000 and friends MPC2000XL/MPC2000 machines.
