Ok, so I am currently borrowing an mpc 2000 classic for a couple of months, and was wondering about fx possibilities. See, I will be buying my own mpc soon (most likely a mpc 3000) so I am thinking an external fx/eq for my samples would be the most practical. My turntable is junky, but sound quality is o.k. and I have this running into a Behringer phono pre then to the MPC, so I have no sort of eq or fx for my samples. What would yall recommend I invest in first? A DJ mixer with eq? An external eq or fx rack? Or the eb-16.. and then sell it once I get my 3k?
Im on a somewhat limited budget as, I need to get some o.k. monitors..
and keep my money stacked for the mpc 3000.
Any suggestions or opinions on what might be the best investment for sample processing at a reasonable price? I want to eq samples, add reverb, etc.
Thanks for your time.
