wave to Snd??????

I'm not to sure about which software, but this can be done easily with your mpc 2000 xl while you are saving... 1)go to save menu page & hit function key{do it}. 2) move the cusor down to file type. you will see the default file save as type which is {mpc 2000/snd}. 3) now here is the money move , spin the data wheel once, it will change it to wav and now save as you normally would.

why my mpc don't recognize this?

The 2000 v.1.72 recognises 16 bit 44.1 khz PCM wavs. If they are not in this format you need to convert them. It is easier to find a program that does this than converts to native mpc snd format...

Load them up in the MPC and save them all, they wil automatically be saved as snd.

I own an MPC2000 classic with the 1.72 OS on it and mines reads .wav files with no problem. Just as stated above u will need to have that .wav file in 16 bit 44.1khz form in order for the 2k to recognize it.

But um keep in mind u don't always have to load sh*t in da 2k its an sampler so sample sometimes if when u try to load doesn't work. Some people forget that.

Suggestions:
-Sample into the MPC
-Make Programs for the mpc by using MPC Editor ( www.mpc2000xl.com )
-Load Up .wav/snd files into the MPC
-Read the manual in its entirety and apply what u read.
-Go to www.youtube.com and watch how those producers make the most out of their MPC 2000.

my problem are taht when i put inside the cd wave or snd format in the cdrom, it don't recognize the format it show in the dispaly ?????????????

the cd rom is plextor ultraplex 40.
cd I have bought it in ebay, is a normal cd samples in wave format

2k classic cannot read regular homemade cd's.

The cd would have to be made in AKAI image format, THEN the 2k classic will be able to read it.

Is that cd a commercial professional cd, SPECIFICALLY for the 2k classic?

..or did you just buy the first thing you saw?
..which sounds to NOT be an Akai formatted cd.

There is a link somewhere here on how to make an Akai image cdrom for 2k, I can't remember where, maybe someone will post it up.
