Alright... So we all know you can buy a kit to install a Multi Card Reader in the MPC2000XL....
At VST they're $140 I think....
On EBAY there's a cat who has em up at $35 every now and then...
Problem is I can't find him now.
Why pay the big money when it can be done on the cheap?
So.... Who knows how it's done?
I haven't opened her up yet, so I haven't seen the interface on the floppy, but I assume it's either some crazy SCSI connection, or it's IDE....
Now, here's a tidbit I know....
You can get an internal card reader from Tiger Direct for $15
(25-in-1 Black)... but it's USB 2.0/1.1
can you somehow go USB to however these interface?
(I know you can go USB to SCSI... they sell a cable for $69)
is it a simple IDE on the MPC Floppys?
