Using the MPC as a MIDI sequencer pad for a software app.

Does anyone know if it is possible to use the MIDI outs to set the MPC's pads as a trigger pad for a software app like Reason?

All gear with MIDI I/O can be used with any other gear or software that has MIDI I/O. It's no different than hooking up any other midi controller (keyboard, control surface, etc) to Reason, actually.
