you'll probably need a firewire device. i use the MOTU 2408 and it works great. then in logic, just setup tracks 1-8 to inputs 1-8, and connect 8 patch cords btwn the MPC and the audio interface.
also while you're at it, you should enable midi syncing. it is easy with the MPC and logic. make sure at least one of your MPCs midi outs is connected to one of your computer's midi inputs, and on the MPC, hit shift 9 and then sync out, mode to midi clock, and make sure to set the output to whatever out is connected to your computer, or both. if both midi outs are connected to your computer (mine are) make sure not send to A and B with the clock.
then on logic's transport, the button btwn solo and metronome is sync. hold it down, then select midi clock sync, and auto sync in. then make sure that button is blue, hit play on the MPC, and you are good to go.
one more thing, i might be a good idea to put a pattern of one blank bar on the MPC and play that first, so the computer and the MPC get a second to get perfectly sync'd
