MPC 2000 Sync to Pro Tools

Im trying to sync my MPC with ProTools LE 6.4. I cant remember if I used MIDI Clock or M Time Code. I want Pro Tools to trigger my MPC to start playing when I hit F12 to record it. ProTools is the master and the MPC is slave. Thanks

You set the MPC to recieve & send Midi Time Clock & set the MMC to ON.

The 2000 only shows MIDI CLOCK & MIDI time Code, not Midi Time Clock. Is
Midi Time Clock the same as MIDI clock?

yeah there is midi clock and midi time code. you are correct. you can use either. midi clock is beat clocks, 1 2 3 4 kinda thing. midi time code is information that tells one machine where in a track it is. most programs can use either. back when i used protools, i'm not sure if it even had midi...

Thank you! Thats EXATLY what I was looking for! I just setup my studio in a new spot & hadnt used my MP in a while & it was driving me crazy trying to get it to sync the way I used to have it set up! Now I can work!
