midi question with motif and mpc

hey guys question I got my motif to trigger on anytime I hit play on my mpc... but what im trying to figure out is some of the patterns I have recorded on my motif that plays when it triggers also plays some of my mpc pads how do i turn that off? I just want them each to play individually

Turn off local control. That's what it's called in the triton, I don't the motif, check the manual.
