2000XL OS 1.14c?

first off, i searched for 1.14c, nothing useful turned up.

ok, i just installed a card reader and it works great.
however, i upgraded the OS from akais site to 1.20, and when i check the version on my mpc, its telling me 1.14c...

i have tried different "1.20" OSes from different sites and it still says 1.14c.
im reading all kinds of ish about cats with 1.20 and others with 1.14 so whats up with that? i hope someone can explain whats going on.

Hi " créateur " , it's funny , OS 1.14C is an old official O.S provides by Audia , a distributor of Akai in France , and it's imposible to load it today , i say that because i search it for a long time...

This OS was provides with a guide of installation for ATAPI ZIP 250 , this guide says to install OS 1.14 for ZIP 100 , and OS 1.14C for zip 250...

I think it's not really the 1.14C , but the 1.20 who is installed in your MPC , because i try to install the 1.20 today on a MPC 2000XL when i read your post ...and it not works ( zip is not recognized for me )

I got the zip with the OS from akais support page. there are two different OSes available, 1.14 and 1.20. I downloaded 1.20 and installed it. But when I check the version it is saying 1.14c. I am trying to figure out what the hell is going on with that, because so many people say they have 1.20 and I want 1.20!!! Not 1.14c, whatever the hell that is.

If anyone cares, I have the ATAPI card reader IISDMC installed.

So far I havent experienced any problems with transferring files back and forth from mpc to pc. I formatted my 2gb CF card on the mpc, and windows xp has no problem reading it. But I still want it to say 1.20...

I re - installed the OS 1.14 on the MPC 2000XL , and it works perfectly , i don't know why , but it works... OS 1.14 was already instaled on this MPC but not works previously...
