card reader not detected

I installed a card reader in my mpc everything was cool for a minute I just brought a sandisk 1gb ultraII compact flash card today since I been using that the ATAPI drive isn't even detected on my mpc can anyone help?

Is the newest OS installed?

hmm that I don't know but still..... It worked like 4 hours prior

you need 1.2 OS to detect cards of 1GB or higher

it wont even detect the reader anymore everything was fine the 1gb card worked for the longest but now it just stopped detecting the reader
