*Emergency* Zip Disk Wont recognize anymore

i've been using my zip drive for quite some time now. I've never formatted it but this time i needed some space for new drum kits so i copyed my zip disk and reformated it...But now it will not recogize anything when its in the mpc....and when i formatt zips in the mpc...for some reason NOTHING AT ALL shows on the computer...whats going on? i really need my mpc for a performance soon

Computer cannot read MPC format. What format did you use when formatting the zip? Use windows fat16 and format the zip that way.. Afterwards use 8 character filesnames.

When you format on the MPC that zip will only be readable on MPC..

shiit....is there anyway i can save my mpc formatted disks like disk docter or something, i have like 5 zips GONE

If you reformatted it then the data is gone.. No turning back.
