Might be a helpful card reader link!

hey all,

im in a tough spot decideing between a 2000XL and a 2500 right now.

but while im decideing i went looking for a card reader for the 2000XL if i did go for it (it is $500 cheaper). you can give your advise in my thead in the comparision forum.

i wanted to know, anyone use this card reader?

Its $17 US, and says its IDE/ATAPI compatible. It only has a CF slot, but i saw alot of peeps on here saying they could only get the CF slot working anyways.

What do you all think?? good buy or no?

dood i think there was a post on this specific card reader b4....

well before i posted i searched the link, the company name, and the manufacturer of the reader to no results.

Anyone know anything about this?

It says its a IDE/ATAIP card reader, but will this model work in the xl?

i tried the one from the same company but with more slots, comppuapps or what ever and it didnt work i also used a SD , and i know sd has bad luck but from what i remember it froze my mpc before it even got to the point of trying to do anything i think with out any card in it it made my mpc freeze also it is missing the screw wholes to mount it in the mpc, so u gotta drill holls in the drive to mount it down,,, i dont remmeber its bin awhile,

what about the 17 dollar one anyone tried that?
