2000XL Automatic Settings

Hi Ya'll How do you automatically set your MPC to stay in DRUM1 mode instead of MIDI (bottom left) I got a new XL and every time I turn it on it goes to 167 BPM and goes to MIDI & f's everything up when i sequence. i assume its shift something, but can't find it. hope this makes sense. thanks

by default the first sequence should be 120bpm, and DRUM1, i bet its loading an all or aps file from the root directory of your primary storage. try remove your disks and power up.

^nah, there's a way to change what settings the defaults are which is what i believe he's talking aout

Edit (F2) -> User

from there you can change it to start on whatever drum or etc

- shift+8
- f2
- f6
