cant play my saved sounds..?

hey whats up? i got a mpc 2000xl and saved a bunch of sounds that i like and a sequence of sounds that i made on my internal zip and when i load them i cant hear it? i know my headphones work cause i can load other sounds and i know it aint the zip cause it is reconizing the seaquence. am i doin something wrong? can someone help me. ive only have it for a week or so, so im fairly new..

Seems like you just saved the sequence file and didn't actually save the program. If so, none of those sounds that you had loaded on the mp are there anymore. You have to save your program files in addition to your sequences
