play x

everytime i hit the pad it plays the sample from the beginning.

is there any way to play x on the pads? i'm tired of jamming that poor f6 button

In the trim screen you need to go to zone edit (it's one of the function keys) then you set Play X to zone and it will play the part you want to hear... from here you can merrily chop your samples.

nah, the pad keeps playing the whole sample

once again, i'm trying to get the pads to play x, specifically zone

I think in trim mode you can use the pads,but in zone mode you have to use the f6 button.
