WHEN I RECORD MY BEATS ONTO THE PC, I LIKE TO SEPARATE EACH TRACK (KICKS, SNAREES, HATS ETC..) ON DIFFERENT TRACKS, I USUALLY HAVE TO DO THIS ONE BY ONE ON ACID 6.0, IS THERE A WAY TO RECORD EACH PART ALL AT ONCE AND GET SEPARATE TRACKS AT ONCE???

I have 8 outs..... when u say 10 outs are u adding the outputs next to the record ins on the mpc?? i use a tascam us122 as my interface, and a cheap lil mixer there. i've been trying to record the trackss seperately at once without having to use the track mute but i still can't get it, can u break it down for me a lil more thanx

It looks like your tascam has 4 inputs? If that's right, that's the maximum you will be able to do at once. In a new project in acid Right click where the tracks go and click insert new Audio track. Do that 4 times. Now you want to set up your outputs on your MPC using the mixer screen. You can tell it which sounds goto which outputs. Then connect cords from your different outputs to teh different inputs of the tascam. On each of the audio tracks in acid you have to tell it which input you want it to record from by right clicking on the track and scrolling down to record input and choosing one of your 4 inputs. Once you have setup all your acid tracks to their corrosponding inputs you want to click 'arm for recording' on all of them, then when you're ready hit record on the bottom in acid and hti play on the MPC.
